Cell is the smallest unit of life.
All living things consist of cells, although the smallest organism may consist of one cell
Parts of a cell
Cells are diverse, but all cells have some parts in common.
The main parts of a cells are: plasma membrane, cytoplasm, ribosomes and DNA, which is a nucleus acid found in cells.
Types of Cells
There are two types of Cells: Prokaryotic and Eukariotic Cells.
Prokaryotic Cells
They are cells without a nucleus, and they are found in single - celled organisms, such as bacteria.
Organism with prokaryotic cells are called prokaryotes. They were the first type of organisms to evolve and are still the most common organism today.
In order to learn more about Prokaryotic Cells, watch this video:

Eukariotic Cells
They are cells that contain a nucleus. They are usually larger than prokaryotic cells, and they are found mainly in multicellular organism. Eukariotic cells also contain other organelles besides the nucleus.
Watch the following videos, we will discuss in class about them
